COMMITTEE REPORTS: Report:
President August is here and that means
it is time for our Annual AGM. If you have ambitions to become more involved
in the club or ideas regarding the direction of the club, this is your
opportunity. To assist the club to obtain the best committee, please come along
and help to elect the new committee. I personally have found my time
on the committee very rewarding, but it is time for me to step aside and
allow others the opportunity. It is important for the club to have a strong
committee made up of people from different backgrounds and ages. There are eleven positions
available and position descriptions are available to assist members who have
not been on the committee before. To have a say in the direction
of the club, please attend the AGM and please consider nominating for a
position on the committee. Your club needs you. Enjoy life and keep Dabbling. Glynn T. Report: Deputy Social Secretary B It was so good to see everyone at our last New
Members function that we had in New Farm Park on Sunday 4th July. It was especially pleasing to see so many
New and Prospective Dabblers attend and enjoy a perfect Winters’
morning. The sun was shining and the smell of sausages and
onions cooking were mouth-watering and plenty of chatter was to be
heard. A very big thank you to our
cooks Pete R and Allan W for all of their BBQ expertise which was appreciated
by everyone. Thank you to all Dabblers who came along and helped
by chatting to New and Prospective Members it was a great to see. If you missed out on joining us, please
come along to a function and meet all of our wonderful Dabbler friends. If you feel afraid to come by yourself, all it takes
is a little confidence to come along and you will find everyone happy and
friendly and ready to accept you into the wonderful world of Dabbling (and
this is taken from my personal experience).
